Indie Fest USA International Film Festival has firmly established itself among the top anticipated film festivals in the US. Held each year in the beautiful city of Garden Grove, California on the Historic Main Street, the festival brings the very best of World independent Cinema to Southern California from countries around the world.
The festival is dedicated to the creation of opportunities for the artistic interaction and exchange among independent filmmakers and the film-going community. Each year, awards are presented in all of the main categories for the top films and filmmakers, writers and actors.
The mission of the festival is to promote community and cinema arts by presenting to the public unique, entertaining and visionary films from independent filmmakers world wide.
Calling all filmmakers! Are you ready to showcase your talents and vision in true competition style? For the 2013 season we have completely redesigned the festival to give you, the filmmaker the best opportunity to truly compete with other filmmakers from around the USA and the world.
Indie Fest USA IFF is now a three part year long full festival competition unlike any other festival you have ever submitted to. We have two initial festival rounds of competition, one in the Spring and one in the Summer, both which include an online competition for the right to move on to the fall Grand Finale Festival live in Southern California.
The award winners from these two festivals will move on to the spectacular Fall festival event where they will compete for over $250,000 in prizes and the titles of "Best of 2013" in more than 30 award catagories.
We know that it's expensive to submit your films to the hundreds of festivals each year, and attending each one is simply not possible in this economy. So we've made it easier on you and your pocket by having just one entry fee for the entire year. This means that if you submit your film and your film is not selected for the Spring festival your film will be entered for consideration to the Summer festival without paying another submission fee. Also the winners from the Spring and Summer festival competitions are automatically moved on to the final competition round so there's no additional submission or fee to worry about.
The film submission fee for 2013 for all films is $50.
Withoutabox members receive a $5 discount off the submission fee
Films submitted for consideration must have been made after January 1st, 2011
We also are working with travel groups to give you discounted rates on airfare, hotels, ground transportation and even food and drinks while at the festivals.
And let's not forget about our screening challenge. Any filmmaker who can sell out their film screening (verified by seat count and tickets sold) will receive 50% of their total box office ticket sales for that screening!
